From the beginning; a personal guide to getting out of The Pit

Step one:

One task at a time. Choose a task and see it through. Do a sudoku, read a chapter, complete a music session.

Step two:

Get outside. Walk, swing, swim. If you can’t manage that then just sit in the grass for 10 minutes; make yourself stay.

Step three:
Stop asking “why life?” And instead ask “what would a meaningful life look like?”

The first question is moot. The second question opens up possibilities and reorient to life.
